Description
Angelica 14 is a pain-relieving formula, mainly intended for headache, neck pain, and other upper body pains. The formula is based on several traditional prescriptions of the pain syndrome caused by invasion of wind. In ancient China, there was no concept about virus or bacteria. Instead, they think some evil energies invade our body. One of evil energies was expressed by wind. This is a condition in which the blood vessles contract, producing the pain sensation. The upper body is most susceptible to wind . Several of this formula are said to dispel wind and relieve surface congestion, including Angelica, chrysanthemum, cnidium, chiang-huo, siler, and vitex. Accroding to one report, patients with occipital headaches, were treated twice daily with 30 g of Angelica in decoction. Out of 73 patients, 69 showed significant improvement, 3 showd slight improvement, and 1 showed no response.

Dosage
2-3 tablets, three times a day. This formula is intended to have both immediate action(within the hour) and long -term effects.
