Description
Rehmannia 16 is a generalized yin nourishing and moisturizing formula. It is modified from traditional formula by adding addtional herbs for nourishing the body fluid, kidney and liver and mosituring dryness. The intent of this formula , compared to others, is to address deficiencies that affect all three body parts- upper, middle, and lower body. The three body parts are all affected when there has been a chronic disease that either started with an acute ailment in the upper body and worked its way down and into the deepest parts of the body, or when an internal disorder, usually starting with deficiency in the lower and middle part, projects upward.

Directions
After meal, 2-3 tablets three times a day. This formula is intended to be used for long- term adjustment of the body fluid, which may require several months of consistent use.
Cautions
This formula is contraindicated during pregnancy and nursing.Patients should not stop using their drug treament abrubtly as there is a risk of hyperglycemia or diabetic ketoacidosis. Herbal and drug treatments should overlap for 1 to 2 weeks before.
